alhamdulillah, as planned, dilla and asyrul got married on 29 march 2007. it was a beautiful solemnization ceremony and as grand as it could be. she looked lovely in her white dress and asyrul looked good in his baju melayu.
both me and azli were there. slept kat rumah dilla and since we know her parents and her sisters from before, it makes us even more comfortable to be part of the wedding team/organiser etc. we arrived in kl on 28 march morning and dilla picked us up from klia. so many things to be done before the wedding. dila keluar rumah nearly 3 times a day to settle few things. even that nite we went to klcc to pick up her dress.
the morning or nikah.. me n azli was put in charge to organise the hantaran , where to put them when asyrul family arrived. giler lah.. was put on spot light again. why cant i be the low key person. hahaha.
with one lafaz, officially dilla is asyrul's wife. alhamdulillah. i've known dilla for nearly seven years now and i sort of know asyrul as well. to see this couple wed after all they've been through is such a wonderful moment. they've been together almost nearly 8 years.. GOD that is a long time. and i salute dilla because i think her perseverance and dedication and loyalty to her beloved ones has finally given off.
